Damian had an expression of boredom while he entered the pet store. So far his time in Diagon Alley had been... interesting apart from the shopping which he had always thought was boring. His mother was still down in Knockturn Alley shopping for things that he didn't even care to know about. He had been on his own since he left the darkened alley and that girl who didn't want to be a Hufflepuff.

Looking around curiously, he saw a toad. One word described the thing; ugly. Yet, when he heard it's loud croak and creepy eyes, he smirked. It was a lot better then all the other pampered looking pets in the place and it could certainly come in handy for scaring people. He hadn't had much fun since he saw an argument among some stupid old witches a few days earlier. After coming to a desision, he took the ugly looking toad and took it over to the counter to pay.

As the door opened, a bell rang and immediately a golden blur shot past the sales girl feeding him as he headed towards the door. Too bad Alex was in the way and the blur and she collided, and for the second time that day, Alex fell on the floor, this time her packages all around her. The blur, though she guessed it was a pup, hit her hard and she banged her head on the floor quiet hard, so she laid there for a while with her eyes closed, waiting for the pain to subside. When it did, she slowly stood up, making a comical grimace as she gingerly touched the slight swelling at the back of her head.

"I guess my decisions made for me! I'm buying that Golden Cocker Spaniel pup!"
